Mogul 8-16
Owned by the Museum.
Manufactured by the International Harvester Company, Chicago, Illinois.
In 1914, IHC introduced the Model 8-16 to fit the needs for a light, versatile tractor.
Produced from 1914 to 1917, it was a huge success and over 14,000 units were sold. The Mogul
was the smallest model offered by IHC and was also the least sophisticated. Its single-cylinder,
hopper-cooled engine produces 16 hp @ 400 rpm. Serial number SB732. Donated by
Alfred Knetchnel, San Diego, Ca. Restored by Paul Freiling.
